The images are from Van Pulley’s book, Moroccan Sojourn (2019). Pulley’s lens wanders through Moroccan land and desert scapes into its ancient medinas, souks and kasbahs, and introduces its diverse people. From the ochre palette of its vast deserts to the colorful layers of the High Atlas Mountains, the riotous shades of its souks, and its resplendent architecture, Morocco is a mélange of vibrant color. Indeed, Moroccans themselves must compete for attention with the brilliant colors they wear.
