Statement
My God is the God of the Impossible is an ongoing project that reflects observations collected in Bahia, Brazil. Bahia represents a blending of European, African, and Amerindian cultures; it was also the first slave market in the New World with slaves arriving from West Africa and being subjected to brutal, harsh, and exploitative labor practices on sugar plantations. In sharing this work, it should be clear that I am sharing a point of view of an outsider, always working to better understand life and the environment.
